Job description
A fantastic and exciting new opportunity has become vacant for September in the London Borough of Newham. We are currently seeking an outreach EY (early years) practitioner. This will be to work with various schools and run both one to one and intervention sessions to aid the development of children with autism.
Newham is a largely inclusive borough, therefore an outreach team is necessary to get the appropriate support to the children diagnosed with autism. You will be required to work from a base at a primary school in East Ham where you will have access to session suites and a group office space to write your updates and reports on student's progress.
Practitioners will also be required to travel from school to school and liaise with the student's teachers, learning support assistants and parents to help develop a plan and structure for the child and then follow up that these plans are happening.
This role requires a highly organised and motivated individual with a serious passion for SEND. This is an amazing opportunity to take a different direction in education with the chance to develop your career further.
