Job description
We have a post available for a Deputy Head Teacher based at a Pupil Referral Unit in Smethwick, West Midlands. The role is initially on a Temporary basis for Maternity Cover and will commence September 2016. We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Head who enjoys a challenge and has a passion for student achievement. Experience of working in a SEN/PRU setting would be advantageous but not essential, we are looking for strong leadership experience, but more importantly the right attitude.

Candidate Requirements

As a Deputy Headteacher you must demonstrate the following skills;

* Leadership and management

* Be able to work with challenging children

* Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 3 - 4 Curriculum

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and students

* Liaising with outside agencies
