Classroom Support Mentor

A specialist school in the heart of Croydon are currently looking for classroom support mentors with the ability to work with young people, with the age range of 14 to 16.

This School provides provision for pupils who have experienced significant gaps in their education. The school delivers a broad and balanced curriculum which supports their students to make progress within a nurturing environment.

This role is suitable for those who enjoy working young people and have great communication skills. Children that have huge gaps in their education are often not as confident in themselves as other young people. With the right support these young people can rebuild their confidence and attain success the same way everyone else does.

The ideal candidates for this position will have:

·Ideally worked with children in a safe guarded setting
·Flexibility - Willing to work across different age groups and classes
·The ability to create and maintain relationships
·Strong communication skills
·Ability to remain calm
·Punctual
·Reliable
·A good sense of humour
·Creative Personality
·Willingness to learn
