Job description

We are looking to appoint several SEND Child/Behaviour Support Assistants to work with Schools in Hackney. You will ideally hold a Team Teach certification or be prepared to get one and have a passion for working with young people aged 5-9. The work can be very rewarding; however, it can also be challenging too, so you need to be resilient, clam, composed and have the ability to manage challenging behaviour in these schools. Many students have complex communication needs, severe learning difficulties or are autistic and some occasionally present some challenging behaviours.

Protocol Education adheres to the following from its Support Assistants:
• A DBS certificate with a live subscription to the update service or be willing to get one
• Two professional references within the last three years
• Someone who is committed to the safeguarding of young people
