Job description
Protocol Education are currently working closely with a large SEND School in Leicester to provide them with a level 2 or above British Sign Language trained LSA.

The post is for an experienced Learning Support Assistant with BSL to work with students with a range of different needs across all ages. It would be to start immediately after the Summer Break for 5 days a week and ongoing up until Christmas at a minimum, with a view to staying on to complete the academic year. This role has a high possibility of continuing on into the following academic year for the right candidate.

The School has Primary, Secondary and Post 16 departments and caters for the needs students between the ages of 4 - 19 with a wide range of educational difficulties from moderate to severe and complex needs. Some students have additional sensory, autistic or speech. language and communication needs.

The school need a consistent member of staff to work closely with these students, develop and nurture ongoing relationships with students and provide learning support as well as continued sensory support. The role would be to support individuals across the school.

The school are ideally looking for candidates with experience in other special schools or with extensive experience with children or adults with learning disabilities.
