We are currently recruiting behaviour support worker to work in a pupil referral unit in Wandsworth to start after half-term. This particular school caters for secondary students with social emotional mental health difficulties and challening behaviour. As a teaching assistant you will be working one to one with students with vary levels of challening behaviour, providing mentoring, teaching students about future choices and how to manage anxieties and supporting students in core lessons such as English, Maths and science. This school are looking for people who either have educational or non educational experience working with behaviour and are confident deescalating behaviour.

The role:
  • Working Monday to Friday
  • Experience of working with students with SEMH and behaviour
  • Mentoring and teaching students on a one to one basis
  • Able to manage challenging behaviour
  • Educating students on future choices
