Job description
Protocol Education are working alongside educational settings across the Manchester area who are looking for experienced Behaviour Support Workers to work term time and on challenging behaviour, SEMH, ADHD and LAC's (looked after children).
For this role you will:
· Have at least 6 months experience working with pupils attending a pupil referral unit or similar setting.
· Be strong minded and well grounded.
· Be passionate about being a positive role model to the pupil or pupils you will support.
· Keep pupils on task and complete the activity set by the teacher.
· De-escalate issues efficiently and professionally, adhering to school policies always.
· Liaise with the teacher and other members of staff to stay up to date.
· Be Flexible and adaptable in your approach.
· A none judgemental attitude and approach
