Do you enjoy supporting children and helping them with their learning? We are recruiting for an LSA to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils with challenging behaviour and ASD. It would be desired if you could start in January on a full time basis.

We have a role in one of our schools in Croydon on a full time basis from 8:30 until 4 pm. This role will be working with challenging behaviour on a 1:1 basis, with the pupil having Social, Emotional Mental Health issues. It will require you to think fast on your feet and have a calm manner about you.

You'll be successful if you have:

• A Child workforce DBS, on the update service - we can support you through the process of applying for one if you do not already have one.
• Confidence in working with challenging behaviour and experience with ASD
• Enthusiasm and confidence to work in this environment.

If you feel like this job could be for you please apply, I will be speaking with all applicants.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Please note. We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.
