Job description
A Outstanding primary school in Ealing are looking for a SENCO to join their team in January 2018. This is a long term position to start in January for three days a week and will continue until the end of the academic year. The school is looking for someone with a good academic background and who holds the SENCO qualification.

The school constantly aim is to provide a stimulating, challenging and creative learning environment, where opportunities for extending children's learning can be harnessed and developed.

With responsibility for SEND across the school, you will oversee provision for children with SEND, working in partnership with enthusiastic children, staff, supportive parents, governors and the wider community to improve outcomes for all children. A proven track record of excellent practice and leadership will demonstrate your commitment to high standards and improving achievement for all.

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:

1. You will need to supply two years of references of which at least one must be from a school setting.
2. You must have a good level of both spoken and written English

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
