A Lewisham provision is looking for a talented teacher to join their team from September 2019 until at least the end of the summer term but is likely to be on a rolling ongoing basis.

The role:
• Teaching secondary school aged children in an alternative school setting - the students have been removed from mainstream Lewisham borough schools.
• Involves working with children with SEND needs including challenging behaviour.
• Teaching a subject across all year groups as well as being happy to have a form group.

As a teacher for this provision, you will be fully supported and have ample time to plan as time is provided within your timetable.

For this role you must be:
• A qualified teacher with at least two years' experience working in either SEN or mainstream.
• Be comfortable supporting to the best of their ability and helping them to achieve from their baseline grades.
• Confident in your ability in managing challenging and disruptive behaviour.
• Available immediately or ready to start a new role in September 2019.
