Job description
Protocol Education are currently looking for SEN Teaching Assistants for short-term and long-term roles across West London.

We are working with a number of SEN schools, both Primary and Secondary, who are looking for specialist SEN Teaching Assistants to work with children with complex needs, including ASC, PMLD, MLD and SLD. Many of the schools we are working with have fantastic facilities including hydrotherapy pools, sensory rooms and large outdoor play areas.

Once working through Protocol Education, you will have access to regular excellent training and SEN specific seminars and open days. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who hold a current Team Teach qualification. Experience of personal care is also desirable but not essential as full training is provided where necessary.

There is flexibility to work in both part-time and full-time roles, ranging from a few days at a time to longer-term bookings.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will be to provide a high level of care and support to children with Special Educational Needs. You'll work under the guidance of the schools' SEN co-ordinator and provide support to children in various year groups. Previous experience working as a teaching assistant is required - if you have experienced supporting challenging behaviour or Special Education Needs in a previous post this could be ideal for you. In return, Protocol Education offer fantastic rates of pay, a full comprehensive CPD schedule and a generous referral scheme.

If you have experience working with children or young adults with special education needs, and are interested in making a positive contribution to the lives of young people, please send your CV or call Simon on 020 3219 7740.
