Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We're looking for caring, patient, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming primary schools from September. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by helping children achieve their full potential.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.
  • Support children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and other additional needs.
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored learning activities.
  • Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and social development.
  • Promote positive behaviour using appropriate strategies.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable.
  • A patient, caring, and compassionate nature.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
