Job description
A popular and successful primary school located in North Bristol are looking for a one to one teaching assistant to support a child in year 4 with special educational needs. The child displays autistic tendencies and needs someone with a firm but fair attitude, preferably with SEN experience or training. With a fantastic management structure and a large proportion of high achieving pupils, this really represents a great opportunity to develop your career in education.

The successful candidate will:

* be enthusiastic and flexible with a very "hands-on" approach

* be prepared to get involved with school life and make a positive contribution to the school

* have high standards of personal presentation

* possess a positive and helpful attitude

* have first class communication skills and be passionate about making a difference

The successful candidate is likely to have worked in schools previously, or have experience within SEN or perhaps be a graduate undertaking a gap year prior to taking a PGCE in Sept 17.

Opportunity available:

This opportunity will begin in September upon successful completion of safeguarding checks, references and clearing and will last for the remainder of the academic year. The school in which it is based is a large and successful primary school that will provide opportunities for CPD and training.
