We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistant who have an interest in working in a Special School supporting students with complex learning difficulties. If you feel you can help to make a difference in a student's life, if you work with great positive energy and resilience, then joining Protocol Education can be the role for you! Ideally we are looking for candidates who have had experience working with students with complex SEN needs.
Students have a range of varied needs, physical disabilities, sensory impairments and medical needs. The schools that we work with cater for children with Social, Emotional and Mental health issues and Autism. The students can be challenging that's why it's of importance that you must have some experience working with challenging behaviour. Each class has approximately 6-8 students.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and will work effectively in a team; You will be able to communicate effectively and appropriately with the children, supporting each student with their individual needs. You must be willing to attend any necessary training; and be reliable and trustworthy.
