We're seeking compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools from September. If you enjoy helping children overcome barriers to learning, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
  • Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions.
  • Encourage engagement and participation in classroom activities.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
  • Promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.
  • Help provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is desirable.
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
