Job description
A school in the borough of Hillingdon are seeking to employ additional support staff to work with primary aged children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

The curriculum approach enables all pupils to be taught in a child centred way pupils work at their own level through individualised teaching strategies and differentiated lessons based on the expectations of the National Curriculum but allowing them to be included in a mainstream classroom environment.
The ideal candidate would have a proven record of supporting SEND students and a background of working with children who are on the Autistic Spectrum would be an advantage.

The school has parking but is very accessible via public transport also.

To be eligible to apply for this position, you will need to be available to start in September, as well as being able to commit to working 8.30am - 4.30pm. You must have a good command of numeracy and literacy, as this is especially important when supporting pupils.

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
