Protocol Education Manchester are working on behalf of a Primary School just South of the City who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support a boy in Lower KS2, 5 afternoons per week. The role will be longer term and hours will be around 12pm-3.30pm Mon-Fri.

The boy has suspected Autism and behavioural needs and struggles to engage in the classroom. Empathy, enthusiasm, a positive outlook and a commitment to encouraging SEN children to achieve their full potential, are essential to thrive in this role.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant should:
• Have experience working with SEN children
• Be flexible and patient, as the Special Needs will vary
• Be able to communicate effectively within a team
• Be committed to work part-time to provide consistency for this child
