Location: Pudsey, Leeds (LS28)
Pay: £88–£105 per day (PAYE, no umbrella)
Contract: Full-time, long-term

We’re working with a fantastic specialist school in Pudsey (LS28) that supports pupils with severe and complex learning needs. They’re looking for a patient, compassionate, and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and help pupils thrive both in and out of the classroom.
You’ll be part of a warm, supportive environment that celebrates every small step forward — because in this school, progress comes in many shapes and sizes.
Your role will include:

Supporting pupils with severe and complex SEND, including ASD, PMLD, and communication difficulties

Assisting with personal care, sensory activities, and physical needs

Helping pupils engage in tailored learning and therapy sessions

Working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent care and support

Experience working with children or young people with complex SEND (school, care, or community setting)

A calm, empathetic approach and a genuine passion for helping others

Flexibility, resilience, and a good sense of humour

A willingness to learn and develop new skills (training provided!)
