Job description
ASD (Autistic Spectrum) Teaching Assistant

Location – Salford

Are you someone who has experience with special needs? Looking to join a school with fantastic facilities and a dynamic team of professionals. A school in Salford, Manchester are currently looking for a vibrant and engaging teaching assistant to support a class of children who are on the Autistic Spectrum.

Although this would be preferred, the school aren’t necessarily looking for someone who has had years of experience working in a classroom with ASD children. Someone who understands the needs and is comfortable working and supporting children with ASD is the most important factor.

Your main duties will be to;

• Support children with their work

• Promote positive behaviour in class

• Supervise classroom activities

• Work closely with the class teacher
