SEN Teaching Assistant - Reigate

Protocol Education are working with an SEN boys secondary school in the Reigate area with a variety of needs including ASD (Autism), Downs Syndrome, speech and language difficulties and complex needs. The school we are recruiting for is a lovely SEN Secondary School who's pupils range from 11-16 years old. The successful candidate will have a resilient, empathetic and patient personality with the desire to help children fulfil their potential. The role would involve a combination of 1:1 support and general classroom support.
The role:
• 5 days a week, term time only
• 8:30am-3:30pm
• Based in the Borough of Reigate
• Working 1:1 with pupils who have challenging behaviour
• Working immediately until Summer 2019
You must have:
• At least 2 years of working with autism and challenging behaviour
• You must be confident with the SEN code of practice
• Experience of supporting pupils of a Primary or Secondary aged
