About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Lambeth. The successful candidate will support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and Learning Difficulties, helping them achieve their full potential in a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCO to implement individual learning plans.

  • Encourage participation, independence, and progress for all learners.

  • Support behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.

  • Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN.

  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

  • Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
