KS1 Teaching Assistant/1:1 Support Required for a September Start 

A fantastic school in Golders Green is seeking a full-time experienced Teaching Assistant to work with KS1 children. This position is to start from September 2022 for the academin year.  You will be joining a hiighly supportive team, where creativity is encouraged. You will be supported by the teacher and another TA in the class.  They are looking for a TA who can also work 1:1 with children with addtional needs as well as group support. 

The school is situated closely to Hampstead Heath, with incredible outdoor facilities to access. 

The role is Monday to Friday, 8.30-3.30.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Support KS1 classes
  • Assess the individual learning needs of pupils
  • Positively manage challenging behaviour
  • Liaise with parents, carers and other professionals who work with the children
  • Supervise activities
  • Work with teachers to find bespoke and individualised child centred education to help engage the children
  • Work with children in small groups and on a one to one basis
