SEN TA - Key Stage 1

Are you a Teaching Assistant (TA) with Special Needs experience? Maybe you’re a recent graduate looking to find a permanent role in a school? Have you thought about working in a mainstream Special Needs environment but need help finding the right school for you?

We have a school based in the Leeds area (LS9) looking for a Key Stage 1 (KS1), Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant. This school is graded ‘Good’ by OFSTED. This is due to achievement being good and all pupils making good progress from their different starting points.

They require a friendly, caring, empathetic and reliable TA to join their excellent team with an understanding of the importance of a nurturing environment. Previous experience of working with Special Education Needs pupils is desirable.

Ideal candidate:

  • SEN experience is desirable
  • Has a passion to step up and work with students with SEN
  • Must hold relevant childcare qualifications or be a graduate interested in primary education
  • Caring & Nurturing approach to their work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
