Job description
Protocol Education are currently recruiting a number of 1:1 Support Assistants for a school in the Stockton-On-Tees area. We are looking for an experienced SEN Support Assistant to provide 1-1 support for a pupil with severe special educational needs.
• Do you have experience working with children aged between 4-11 years of age?
• Are you a caring individual with a desire of helping children to gain their full potential?
• Are you looking for a job that is challenging but the outcome is rewarding?

Then this is for you.

Your main duties will include:
• Inspiring and engaging with the child.
• Putting stratergies in place to help the child in over becoming barriers.
• Assessing individual learning needs and working on an individual basis.
• Assessing and reporting on the individual pupils' progress.


The successful candidates need to have previous experience of working with SEN students with Spina Bifida and Diabetes. The correct candidate must have a strong desire of getting involved in every aspect of the school.

Successful Applicants will be subject to references and an up to date DBS or be willing to apply for a Protocol DBS.
