Protocol Education is seeking to recruit long term SEND Teaching Assistants for a primary school in Harrow. This high calibre school is seeking to recruit SEND Teaching Assistants across both key stage 1 and 2. You will be contracted through to the end of the academic year.

This is an Ofsted rated 'Good' school seeking to recruit a number of SEND Teaching Assistants across all year groups. This is a great opportunity to work with children with a range of needs and abilities. The school is well managed, encouraging a lifelong love of learning. The school promotes self-discipline and a positive approach to behaviour.

You must have a natural approach to teaching, inspiring young learners and maintaining high expectations in regards to attainment and personal development of all students. You will be experienced and or comfortable working with pupils with special educational needs such as autism (ASD) and Challenging Behaviour.

In this exciting and challenging Primary SEND Teaching Assistant position you will be working one to one and in small groups, across an average class size of 28-30 pupils. You will be confident in differentiating your activities when required due to the mixed-ability of each class. You will be expected to engage pupils with the learning and monitor pupil progress closely, ensuring that your pupils maximise their learning potential.
