Job description
SEN Teaching Assistant required for 1-1 pupil support
OFSTED rated 'Good' school in Caterham, Surrey
Part-time, 1-year contract
Immediate start

My client, a lovely school in Caterham, Surrey require a dediacted and experienced Teaching Assistant to start immediately, to support a pupil with SEN on a 1-1 basis.

Support for Pupil:
• Set high expectations and promote self-esteem and independence.
• Provide feedback to the pupil in relation to progress and achievement under the guidance of the class teacher.
• Supervise the pupil at break time and lunchtime and encourage the pupil to play with his/her peers and to co-operate with them in games.
• Observe the pupil at play and in class and assess their needs in terms of social interaction.
