Job description
This beautiful school situated in a culturally diverse area on the border of Slough and Buckinghamshire is in a very strong position, with excellent results, placing them in the top 6 schools locally. They are proud of their achievements and believe they do a good job as recognised by OFSTED.
Currently seeking a SENTA to join them working as a 1:1 TA with a girl in year 4. This school in the borough of Slough are seeking to employ additional support staff to work with primary aged children with SEN.

The curriculum approach enables all pupils to be taught in a way which optimises their learning and is relevant and meaningful to them. All pupils work at their own level through individualised teaching strategies and differentiated lessons based on the expectations of the National Curriculum.
The ideal candidate would have a proven record of supporting SEN students and a background of working with SEMH would be favourable.

The school is a short walk from Slough train station and is very accessible via public transport

To be eligible to apply for this position, you will need to be available to start immediately, as well as being able to commit to working 8.30am - 4.30pm. You must have a good command of numeracy and literacy, as this is especially important when supporting pupils with limited communication skills.

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
