The school benefit from happy, motivated, well behaved children and a spacious, well-resourced learning environment.
You will be working on a one to one basis with a child recently diognosed with ASD to support learning through a range of interventions and play as well as undertake the general care of the child throughout the morning while at Nursery. You will of course be working as part of a team including the Nursery Teacher and other members of support staff in a supportive and warm environment.

This is an incredibly rewarding role as you will get to be a part of a childs journey building a relationship that could continue potentially develop throughout their time at Primary school. It is therefore essential for the role that you have a love and desire to work with young children as the child is of pre-school age however it is not essential that you have worked in a nursery before.
What is required for the role is someone who has a passion and proven experience of working with children on the Autistic Spectrum, who is able to adapt to the EYFS curriculum and have the knowledge and approach to be able to support a child with ASD to access this learning.

In return for you hard work you will receive competitive rates of pay, a supportive and experienced senior management team and a rewarding and enjoyable working environment.

In order to be eligible for this role you will need to be available full time and you will have a DBS registered to the online update service or be willing to pay for a new DBS with us.
