Job description
Summary - SEND Teaching Assistant

I am currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work closely with an 8 year old boy who has Cerebral Palsy. You will be working 1-1 with him and working very closely with the teacher.

This SEND Teaching Assistant position is to start in July, or as soon as possible. You will be doing a handover (in July) with the current Teaching Assistant and fully take over in September.

The Role - SEND Teaching Assistant

As the SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a young boy who has Cerebral Palsy. The young boy is in a mainstream inclusive class of 20. You will be working closely with the class teacher, helping to differentiate the work to suit him. This role is for 5 days a week and you will be doing a hand over with the current Teaching Assistant.

Requirements - SEND Teaching Assistant

·Experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
·Experience with Personal Care.
·Manuel Handling experience.
·Ideally someone who has previously worked with a pupil with Cerebral Palsy - this is not essential though.
·Passionate about working with SEND students.
