Job description
A delightful mainstream primary school based in the heart of Uxbridge is currently recruiting for an SEN teaching assistant to join their team from September. The school is a 3 form entry school and it would be working with a young boy with ASD on a 1:1 basis.

The main roles and responsibilities:

  • Having regular meetings with the SENCo to update on progress
  • Implementing activities to encourage learning
  • Speaking with his parents and having regular meetings with them
  • Helping with some general classroom duties
  • Holding intervention lessons for the child

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working with ASD
  • Can bring in new ideas to help motivate a child with ASD
  • Has a clear DBS check
  • Can work well within a team
