Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant – Group Support (4 Days/Week)

We’re looking for a caring and confident SEN Teaching Assistant—male or female—who’s happy to work in small group settings with students who have special educational needs. This role is based at a warm and welcoming college in Walthamstow, supporting learners aged 16+.
About the role:

Supporting groups of students with additional needs including autism, ADHD, and SEMH

Helping to create a positive, structured learning space where everyone can thrive

Working alongside SENCOs and lecturers to deliver meaningful learning experiences

Building trust and promoting confidence, one session at a time
What we’d love you to have:

Previous experience in a SEN support role (especially in group settings)

A calm, adaptable approach and a sense of humour always helps!

A genuine interest in helping students grow academically and emotionally
