Sen Teaching Assistant (Flexible)

We’re on the lookout for caring, adaptable SEND Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming schools across Bath and Northeast Somerset. Whether you’re after full-time hours, part-time work, or a few days a week around other commitments, we’ll help you find something that works for you.

You’ll be supporting pupils with additional needs including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties. Some days you’ll be helping a child settle into class, other days you’ll be celebrating the little wins that make this job so special.

What the role can include:
• 1:1 support and small group work
• Helping pupils regulate emotions and routines
• Supporting learning through creativity and patience
• Working closely with class teachers and SEND teams

What we’re looking for:
✔ A calm, positive attitude
✔ Great communication and empathy
✔ Experience with children or vulnerable adults is a bonus, not essential
✔ Someone reliable, flexible, and ready to get stuck in

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
