SEN Teaching Assistant - Bradley Stoke

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are the same as an SEN Teaching Assistant. You may find yourself:

• Supporting a pupil with autism to engage successfully in classroom activities.
• Helping students develop communication, social, and emotional skills.
• Delivering targeted intervention sessions under the guidance of teaching staff.
• Using visual aids, sensory resources, and structured routines to support learning.
• Encouraging independence and celebrating individual achievements.
• Assisting pupils during lessons, breaktimes, and transitions throughout the school day.
• Helping create a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

About the School

Our partner school caters for pupils aged 3-11 with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), communication and interaction difficulties, and moderate learning needs. The school is based in Bradley Stoke.

• Experience in education, childcare, care work, support work, youth services, or similar fields (desirable but not essential).
• A willingness to learn and develop within a specialist educational environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
