Job description
SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism) - Harrow

This role will require you to support a pupil in KS1 who has high functioning Autism. The pupil will require support during all lessons. The successful candidate will be compassionate and nurturing yet still have the ability to find the balance between being firm but fair. The headteacher is keen to appoint an SEN teaching assistant who has previous experience supporting children who have been diagnosed with Autism.

The roles are due to start in September 2019, 5 days per week and run for the whole academic year.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

• Have previous experience working in a primary school
• Experience supporting pupils who have been diagnosed with Autism
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to commit to working in the role for the rest of the academic year

The job role

Long term, 5 days per week
Term time only
£60- £70 per day
8.30am - 4pm
