SEN Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education are currently looking to employ a teaching assistant to work in a school in Middlesbrough. This particular role is working 1:1 with a child who has ASC traits and behaviours that challenge. The school needs someone who is confident in working with children who has additional needs, this person needs to be consistent and reliable. Do you have a strong understanding of SEN and have good de-escaltion techniques? Well this could be the job for you!

 

The ideal candidate for this role will:

- Have SEN experience within a school or relevant role

- Confident in supporting behaviours that challenge with good de-escalation techniques 

- Available 5 days a week and can commit to this long term role 

- Valid Enhanced DBS on the update service 

- Can provide referees covering the last 3 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
