We are working with a Primary school in Trowbridge who are looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant, ideally with experience of working with children with ASD and/ or SEMH.
The appointed Teaching Assistant will support an individual child in Year 5 who has recently joined the school. The boy has autism and is currently being taught outside of the classroom in the schools Nurture Unit. This role may also involve supporting the child during break times and lunch times.
The successful individuals will support the Class Teacher in the teaching and welfare of the assigned individual, ensuring they attain the targets set.
Dealing with the behavioural, communication, social and emotional development of the children is integral to these roles.
Pay £10 an hour

• Able to relate exceptionally well with children and to go that extra mile to help them achieve
• Experienced of Primary School environments
