SEN Teaching Assistant
Protocol Education are currently working with a "Good" Ofsted rated primary school in Leeds who are recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis. This is a permaent opportunity starting in September 2022.
The position involves supporting SEN needs within the schools Early Years Department, the role would include supporting a pupil with Autism (ASC), managing their behaviour and monitoring their progress.
The school need someone who can work with the pupils both inside the classroom and in an specialist area outside the classroom. They would expect the successful individual to be able to use their initiative well in these situations and know when to intervene and diffuse effectively.
- Have a very patient and calm approach.
- Have previous experience working with Autism and ideally Autism Training.
- Have a resilient mindset.
- Have previous school based experience, relevant to the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
