1:1 Teaching Assistant Needed in Brent

Contract Type: Full-time

Monday – Friday

  • 1:1 TEACHING ASSISTANT Needed to work in Brent
  • 1:1 TEACHING ASSISTANT Needed to work in a mainstream primary school
  • 1:1 TEACHING ASSISTANT Needed available for an immediate start
  • £250 Referral Bonus for each Teacher or TA you refer to us (conditions apply)

We are looking for an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 6 who has ASD in a mainstream primary school.

Experience of working with children with Special Educational needs is essential. You will be energetic and enthusiastic and have excellent communication skills and proactiveness, creating the best settings for a safe and effective learning environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To provide learning support for pupils with SEN in class or in 1:1 situation.
  • To develop knowledge of the needs of the students and seek advice from the SENCo, class teacher
  • To organise and maintain an inclusive learning environment across the whole school environment.
  • Provide positive reinforcements, praise and rewards to pupils.
  • Facilitate inclusion in small group activities with peers and support interaction between them.
  • To attend in service training and relevant meetings relevant to the post to keep up to date with developments in working with children with special educational needs.

This is long term role with the potential for temp to perm. There is also ongoing CPD training, professional support from our team of experienced consultants and Optional online training at a reduced cost

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
