Protocol Education is seeking compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across a range of primary schools in Darlington.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Supporting children with a range of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs.
• Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
• Promoting pupil engagement, independence, and confidence.
• Supporting positive behaviour strategies and emotional regulation.
• Ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all pupils.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable.
