Protocol Education is currently recruiting caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in supportive schools and specialist provisions across Swindon.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• Supporting children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and complex learning difficulties.
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.
• Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
• Implementing personalised learning and behaviour support plans.
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have at least 6 months' experience working with children or young people in an SEN, education, childcare, or support setting.
• Have experience supporting pupils with SEND or additional learning needs.
• Are patient, resilient, caring, and adaptable.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
