SEN Teaching Assistant – Doncaster

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Doncaster. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children with special educational needs thrive both academically and personally.

The Role:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
• Assist students with their learning, communication, and emotional development
• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs and abilities
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and other professionals to support pupil progress

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable
• A caring, patient, and positive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Relevant Teaching Assistant or SEN qualifications are advantageous
