SEN Teaching Assistant – Sheffield

We are looking for a caring, patient, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Sheffield. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them reach their full potential.

The Role:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
• Assist students with their learning, communication, and personal development
• Support the classroom teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment
• Help manage behaviour and promote confidence and independence
• Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable
• A caring, patient, and supportive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Relevant SEN or Teaching Assistant qualifications are advantageous
