Looking for a role where every day makes a difference?

You're not "just" a Teaching Assistant. You're the calm voice, the confidence builder, the person who helps children believe in themselves.

We're working with welcoming schools across Bath that are looking for caring, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs.

Whether you've worked in education, care, youth work, or have personal experience supporting someone with additional needs, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Helping children engage with learning in a way that works for them
  • Building positive relationships and encouraging confidence
  • Working closely with teachers and SEND professionals
  • Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment

We're looking for someone who

  • Has experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEND, or transferable experience from care or support roles
  • Is patient, empathetic, and resilient
  • Communicates well and enjoys working as part of a team
  • Wants to make a genuine difference every single day

Why join Protocol Education?

  • Opportunities across mainstream, SEND, and specialist settings
  • Simple registration process and local work that fits around you
  • Refer a friend and earn rewards
