Primary SEN Support Teaching Assistant

We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 pupil with an autism profile in a welcoming primary school in Bromley Heath.

This is a rewarding 1:1 role where you'll help a child access learning, build confidence and develop independence. You'll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, while also supporting small group interventions when needed.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting children with ASD and social communication needs
  • Understands how to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs
  • Can build positive, trusting relationships
  • Is calm, patient and able to support emotional regulation
  • Can encourage focus, confidence and independence

Requirements

  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service
  • Two years of references
  • Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
