SEN Teaching Assistant – Bristol | Full-Time | Immediate & September Starts

Protocol Education is currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in supportive schools across Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to join welcoming school communities where you can help pupils develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

Whether you have experience supporting children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, or complex learning needs, we'd love to hear from you.

Your responsibilities will include:

✨ Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
✨ Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
✨ Supporting pupils' emotional, social, and academic development
✨ Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting independence
✨ Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
✨ Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to support individual learning plans

We're looking for candidates who:

✔ Have at least 6 months' experience working with children or young people in a school, childcare, or support setting
✔ Have experience supporting pupils with SEN or a genuine passion for SEND education
✔ Are patient, caring, reliable, and adaptable
✔ Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
✔ Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
