A fantastic school in Bristol is looking for a compassionate and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys making a meaningful difference in children’s lives and supporting their individual development.
You will work closely with teachers and SEN professionals to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of additional needs.
What you’ll be doing:
✨ Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
✨ Supporting children with communication, learning, and emotional needs
✨ Implementing personalised learning and support strategies
✨ Helping create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
✨ Encouraging independence and confidence
What we’re looking for:
✔ Experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable
✔ Understanding of SEND, autism, SEMH, or complex needs
✔ Patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
