We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants,or a unique and nurturing educational setting. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about making a real difference in children’s learning and development.

The ideal candidates will have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a strong commitment to inclusive education. The setting places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, practical education, and child-led experiences.

We are particularly interested in individuals who have experience or a genuine interest in:

  • Forest School activities
  • Outdoor learning and play-based education
  • Farming, agriculture, or animal care
  • Hands-on and experiential learning approaches

In this role, you will:

  • Support pupils’ learning in both classroom and outdoor environments
  • Assist with delivering engaging, practical learning activities
  • Work closely with children with additional needs, providing tailored support
  • Encourage confidence, independence, and social development
  • Contribute to a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Experienced in education or SEN Teaching Assistants
  • Patient, caring, and adaptable
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all environments
  • Proactive and enthusiastic about non-traditional learning approaches
  • Committed to supporting children’s individual learning journeys

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
