Protocol Education are currently working alongside a special school in Leeds, West Yorkshire to appoint open-minded and proactive Special Needs Teaching Assistants to start full time as soon as possible ideally be ready to work October 2022.
All staff at the school are committed to their pupils and strive to bring out the best n every student and help them reach their full potential.

The school caters for pupils aged 2 to 19 years, on different specialist and mainstream sites supporting a wide range of moderate learning difficulties; severe learning difficulties; complex & multiple needs; Asperger’s; Autism and Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs. Some students have physical, medial, speech & language, visual and hearing or sensory impairments. Therefore, it is beneficial that candidates has previous experience of working with Complex Communication Needs and Autism.

Due to the expansion of this specialist school they're currently open to a variety of pervious skills and experiences, offering the chance to work within the school on a supply basis initially with the intention of them applying permanently once they have gain in house training and hands on experience.

Requirements

Willingness to learn on the job
Pervious experience working with children or caring for adults.
Valid DBS or willing to obtain one
