Job description
Protocol Education is currently recruiting for experienced SED teachers or teachers wanting to experience working in SEN schools across South East and South West London boroughs.

Locations include Lewisham, Southwark, Lambeth, Croydon, Wandsworth, Merton, Sutton, Bromley, Kingston and Richmond. We currently have a wide range of exciting positions available for either day-to-day or long-term supply with students that have PMLD/ SLD needs.

As a SEN teacher successful candidates will need the following skills and qualifications:
• QTS teaching or a UK recognised teaching qualification teaching at a secondary or primary level
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative and works well under pressure.
• Experience or understanding of P-Levels.
• Have recent experience teaching SEN students
• Assessing and planning individual learning need and lessons.
• Assessing and reporting on individual pupils' progress
• Liaising with parents, carers and professionals such education welfare officers, social workers and Healthcare professionals


The successful candidates need to have previous experience of working with SEN students and have a strong desire of getting involved in every aspect of the school. Experience with children and young adults that have PMLD, SLD, ASD & MLD would be preferable.

Successful Applicants will be subject to references and an up to date DBS or be willing to apply for a Protocol DBS.
