Job description
Are you a successful and creative teacher looking for a leadership role?

A Special Needs School in the Borough of Croydon is an all age school for children with physical disabilities, complex medical needs and a wide range of learning difficulties, profound, severe and moderate.

The school is looking for a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic teacher to join a dynamic leadership team. A real interest in special educational needs and developing your practice is more important than special school experience.

The role

Head of Early Years (Reception, Y1 and Y2) -and class teacher for 6-9 pupils with a team of teaching assistants to support teaching and learning, therapy programmes and personal care.

You will

•Be an experienced practitioner with a real desire to work with pupils with complex needs.

•Be able to work as a member of a large inter-disciplinary team alongside medical and therapy staff.

•Have a positive attitude towards pupils’ abilities.

•Trained in Team Teach or similar

•The right candidate will be fully trained by school if required
